Sheriff's deputies were searching for three suspects in connection with a shooting Monday afternoon that left three men dead in Redwood City's North Fair Oaks neighborhood.
After authorities received a 911 call about a shooting, one man was found dead outside and two more dead inside a house in the 500 block of Stanford Avenue around 1:30 p.m., said San Mateo County Sheriff's Lt. Marc Alcantara.
All three victims suffered apparent gunshot wounds and were Latino men approximately 25 to 30 years old, he said.
Authorities were looking for a light blue Honda, containing a man driver and two women passengers, that witnesses saw speeding away from house right after the shootings.
A motive for the shootings had not been established and authorities could not immediately say if they were gang-related.
"The investigation is still in the preliminary stages," Alcantara said.
He asked that anyone who might have information regarding the shooting to call the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office tip line at (800) 547-2700.
