Machine Gun Used In Pinole Bank Bank Robbery
PINOLE (CBS 5) ―
Three men armed with a Tec-9 machine gun robbed the Wells Fargo Bank branch in Pinole on Friday, police said.
Two men entered the bank at 1374 Fitzgerald Drive, demanded money from tellers and then fled in a stolen car driven by a third man, according to Sgt. Will Palmini.
The getaway vehicle was a black Toyota Highlander, License No. 4YDC628, that headed westbound on Fitzgerald Drive about 10:35 a.m., Palmini said.
The vehicle was carjacked in Richmond on Thursday, police said.
Despite initial reports that shots were fired, police said there were no injuries to any bank employees or customers.
The three suspects were described as:
Black Male adult, 18-20 years old, wearing dark pants, long white T-shirt, dread-lock type hair, dual-colored mask over face, dark gloves, carrying a compact machine gun.
Light Skinned Black Male adult, 18-20 years old, wearing a black front zipped hoodie, dark colored jeans, black synthetic braided wig with bangs, braces on top and bottom teeth, and dark gloves.
Male, wearing a light colored shirt, sitting in the right front passenger seat of the fleeing vehicle.
