Police Identify Mountain View Shooting Victims
MOUNTAIN VIEW (BCN) ―
Mountain View police on Monday released the identities of two people found shot to death early Saturday morning in their Plymouth Street home.
Omar Aquino, 24, and his sister and roommate Teresa Sanchez, 27, were found dead at approximately 5 a.m. Saturday morning after officers responded to their residence on the 1900 block of Plymouth following reports of shots fired in the area.
Sanchez's 8-year-old son was discovered unharmed and asleep in another room of the residence. He is currently being cared for by relatives.
Police believe multiple unknown suspects entered the home and confronted the victims prior to the shooting. They also believe that one or both of the victims likely knew the suspects, according to a Mountain View Police Department statement.
