Concord Man Stabbed Through Screen Door At Home
CONCORD (BCN) ―
Concord police are looking for a man who allegedly stabbed another man through a screen door Saturday evening, Concord police Cpl. Kerry Cerletti said Monday.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m. police responded to a call in the 1800 block of Third Street, where a 52-year-old Concord man had just been stabbed.
The victim told police that the man who stabbed him had come to his house and that the two men had gotten into an argument.
The suspect was standing outside the victim's home and the victim was inside with the screen door closed between them when the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim in the stomach with a knife, Cerletti said.
The victim, who knew his attacker and was able to identify him to police, was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. He is expected to survive his injuries, Cerletti said.
The suspect, who is also known to police, fled on foot after the stabbing and has not been arrested.
