Brentwood Domestic Violence Leaves 1 Dead

BRENTWOOD (BCN) ― A 42-year-old man died and a 20-year-old man was arrested after a stabbing during a family dispute in Brentwood Friday night, according to police.

The incident was reported at about 10:35 p.m. in the 1200 block of Ironwood Drive, where arriving officers found Benjamin Packer sitting in the driveway of a home, police said.

Inside the home, the officers located Dennis Packer suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to police.

Benjamin Packer was taken into custody on suspicion of murder, police said.
