Two Bodies Found In Home Near Pleasanton

PLEASANTON (BCN) ― The Alameda County Sheriff's Office Friday confirmed that two bodies found inside a residence in an unincorporated area of the county near Pleasanton this afternoon were that of one man and one woman.

The two bodies were discovered around 3:30 p.m. in the home on Castlewood Drive near the entrance to the Castlewood Country Club after a relative who had not heard from one of the victims contacted authorities, said Sgt. J.D. Nelson.

A coroner will not be able to identify the victims until the scene has been fully processed for trace evidence, Nelson said.

"They come when we have cleared most of the scene," he explained.
