1 Dead After Morning Shooting In SF Bayview

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― The San Francisco medical examiner's office has identified 34-year-old Andre Daniels as the man who was shot to death Tuesday morning in the city's Bayview District.

Officers responded to the unit block of Cameron Way at 8:48 a.m. on reports of shots fired, according to Sgt. Wilfred Williams. Arriving officers located Daniels lying on the ground in front of 41 Cameron Way and paramedics transported him to San Francisco General Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Williams said.

No arrests have been made and no suspect description was immediately available.

The shooting marks the 43rd homicide in the city this year.
