A Jack in the Box restaurant in Antioch was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night, police said.

Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress at the fast-food restaurant, located at 4801 Lone Tree Way, at about 9:45 p.m.

A male armed with a handgun entered Jack in the Box and ordered the employees to lie on the floor while he removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the registers, police said. He then fled.

The suspect had his face covered during the robbery and wore a hooded jacket. Police were not able to obtain a more detailed description due to conflicting statements made by witnesses.
