Antioch Man Arrested In Attempted T-Mobile Robbery
ANTIOCH (BCN) ―
Antioch police announced Saturday morning the arrest of a 37-year-old who attempted to rob a T-Mobile cell phone store late Friday night.
Around 11:30 p.m. police responded to an alarm at the store located at 4049 Lone Tree Way.
Upon arriving they allegedly found Joseph Ofman inside the building.
Ofman quickly fled the rear of the store and resisted arrest when he was caught a few minutes later, police said.
In Ofman's possession was a backpack that contained numerous tools used to enter the store through an adjacent building, according to police.
He was booked into the Contra Costa County Jail for burglary, possession of burglary tools, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer.
