Hard Times Lead To Creative Craigslist Postings

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) ― Wall Street is one indicator of the state of the economy. But the San Francisco-based global garage sale that is Craigslist could be a better one.

Currently the garage is overflowing, with tactics new to even the pros. To avoid brokers' fees, some want to swap houses. Craigslist is also full of SUVs and trucks for people who need them. Trades are popular; the ancient art of bartering is becoming more of a modern one.
