Join the Mental Health Association of San Francisco for its 12th Annual Conference on Hoarding and Cluttering on Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at St. Mary's Cathedral in San Francisco. The theme for this year's conference is "Different Perspectives, Universal Goals". The event will feature a keynote presentation by mental health expert Dr. Tamara Hartl, Ph. D. The conference will educate the public on the disorder through discussions on current research and innovations in treatment for those who hoard and clutter. Together with members of the consumer community, professionals from various disciplines will discuss available resources and helpful strategies to prevent eviction, alleviate stigma, and reduce the negative consequences associated with hoarding and cluttering.
