Make Strides Against Breast Cancer Saturday 10/31
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) ―
The chance of a woman having invasive breast cancer some time during her life is about 1 in 8. Join CBS 5 in the fight against breast cancer by participating in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks at Guadalupe River Park in San Jose on Saturday, October 31st.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is your opportunity to honor breast cancer survivors and those we have lost, while raising funds and awareness to help end it.
Through the fantastic support of teams and individuals, the Bay Area Making Strides walk remains the largest breast cancer walk of Northern California.
There is no registration fee or minimum fundraising amount and people of all ages are welcome to participate.
More than a walk, the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer describes the progress we're making together to fight this disease, provides comfort and hope, and saves lives.
You can help raise dollars and awareness that leads to this incredible progress; and do it together, one walker at a time.
