Join CBS 5's Dennis O'Donnell for the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is a national signature event that brings together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members - who all want to make a difference.
Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $260 million to help those battling a disease that 5.3 million Americans live with.
You can help the cause by participating Saturday, October 10 on San Francisco's Treasure Island
The 3-mile walk is a great opportunity to get exercise while participating in the movement to end Alzheimer's disease.
It features music and family entertainment, kids play areas, fun family activities, remembrance areas, food and beverage, and information on Alzheimer's Association programs and services.

The San Francisco event is the largest Memory Walk in the country, reaching the million dollar fundraising mark two years in a row.
