International Children Assistance Network ICAN

Quyen Vuong was a 16-year-old Vietnamese refugee when she came to the United States. She and some friends founded San Jose's International Children's Assistance Network. ICAN's Happy Five program helps Vietnamese parents develop parenting skills. Their vision is to have a society where compassionate, confident and resourceful children become caring, responsible members of their family and community.
