CBS Poll: Presidential Race Tightens

The race for president has returned to about where it was before the first presidential debate, with Barack Obama and Joe Biden holding a small lead over Republicans John McCain and Sarah Palin, a new CBS News poll shows. Opinions of both Palin and Biden improved after last Thursday's vice presidential debate, though Palin still trails when it comes to the perception she is up to the job.
