East Bay Group Helps Women Start Small Businesses
OAKLAND (CBS 5) ―
In the last economic downturn, small businesses provided 64 percent of all new jobs created across the country. An East Bay organization is proving women with the tools to get businesses started.
Women's Initiative gives women training, tools and an ongoing support system for their businesses. More than 17,000 have completed their program over the past two decades.
