Oracle Names New Chief Financial Officer

REDWOOD SHORES (AP) ― Business software company Oracle says it has named Jeff Epstein chief financial officer and executive vice president, effective in September.

Safra Catz, Oracle Corp.'s president, had previously served as CFO. Epstein, 52, will report to Catz, the Redwood Shores, Calif.-based company said on Wednesday.

Epstein most recently served as executive vice president and CFO of Oberon Media, a privately held Internet game technology company.
