MOUNTAIN VIEW (CBS 5) ― Unemployed Bay Area residents are taking advantage of an online resource to help track down work.

LinkedIn, a Mountain View-based social network, helps professionals connect with colleagues and potential employers. Like other networks, LinkedIn allows you to find people you already know online and make new contacts, but it also allows users to present their skills and experience to whoever might be interested.

Our video report looks at the skyrocketing enrollment the sight has seen since the economy began to spiral.
