A bite out with billionaire Warren Buffet will provide a windfall for San Francisco's Glide Memorial Church.
Chinese hedge fund manager Zhao Danyang offered a winning bid of $2.1 million for a chance to have lunch with the Berkshire Hathaway chairman, whose late wife once volunteered at Glide.
Every year the bidding, which benefits Glide's programs for the hungry and street people, gets larger.
This year's $2 million bid Saturday on Ebay more than tripled last year's offer.
The Rev. Cecil Williams is grateful.
"We danced in the streets there for a short time. The streets of San Francisco! We were dancing and singing," said Williams.
As the winner, Danyang gets to bring a few friend to lunch with him.
But what doesn't $2.1 buy him? Stock tips from the world's richest man.
