Real estate agents in the Bay Area say they are coming under attack for doing their jobs. In some areas, it has become a dangerous business with reports of violent confrontations with desperate homeowners.
After 18 years working in real estate, John Hoskins is now taking extraordinary safety precautions by arming himself with a Taser and a bulletproof vest after confronting homeowners facing foreclosure. He said more and more agents, especially in the Central Valley, have resorted to arming themselves, even carrying guns.
