Three young men were arrested in connection with the beating of a teenager on a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus earlier this month, police said Friday.
Police said a group of men assaulted Christopher Borgzinner, 18, after he refused to claim membership in a gang.
Borgzinner is recovering from bone fractures in both eyes. He was riding the 9-San Bruno Muni bus on Oct. 5 when he was attacked.
SFPD Sgt. Lyn Tomioka said two of the teenagers were arrested in San Francisco and another was being held by law enforcement in another unspecified municipality.
Tomioka said all three suspects were under the age of 18, and she was not sure what charges they would face.
