Dr. Kim Mulvihill, M.D.
Kim Mulvihill, M.D. is the CBS 5 Healthwatch Doctor and a graduate of Wellesley College in Massachusetts. Dr. Mulvihill attended the USC School of Medicine and completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCLA.
Dr. Mulvihill's father was a doctor and she grew up wanting to be a teacher. She is a firm believer in communicating with her patients and now does that through teaching on a large scale through her appearances on Eyewitness News.
Additionally, Dr. Mulvihill, her husband, and three sons (all in college) are avid outdoors people. They have completed the Tiburon Triathlon as a family and plan to also do the Escape from Alcatraz as a family as well. The family also enjoys road and mountain biking, skiing, and sailing.
Dr. Mulvihill appeared on KRON 4 from 1998 to 2003 as the Healthbeat Team Doctor/Medical Reporter. Through her teachings on Eyewitness News she advocates exercise for her "patients," family, and herself.
