John Kessler

John Kessler is the co-anchor for the CBS 5 Eyewitness News Early Edition and Eyewitness News at Noon. He joined the station in October of 2002.

In 2004 he won an Emmy for his reporting from Baghdad. And more recently, won another Emmy for the Best Daytime Newscast.

John has more than 20 years experience (15 in the Bay Area) in TV news as a reporter and anchor. Before that, he was an award-winning radio disc jockey, working in Detroit, San Diego, Jacksonville and Charlotte. John studied journalism at San Diego State and is the father of two boys.
